Please make sure the pant legs do not drag on the ground. Suggestions would be to stitch or pin the pants to the correct length. Do not use double sided tape or iron on pellon. Doing so will result in an automatic purchase of the tuxedo.
The arms of the jacket may be altered if additional length is needed. We recommend you take the suit to a tailor for alterations to ensure the best results.
Any temporary alterations made to the costume MUST be removed before you ship the costume back. There will be a $20 charge for alterations not removed.
Reasonable wear to the costume is to be expected and accepted. DAMAGE is considered to have occurred by: tearing, burning, cutting, stains that can not be cleaned, make-up stains, medallions, badges or other kinds of trim which make holes in the fabric, removal of buttons or shoulder pads.
Knee slides are not to be performed while in the tuxedo. Doing so damages the knees of the pants. If slides are done the renter will be responsible for purchasing the tuxedo.
Articles which are lost or damaged by negligence while in your possession or by improper packing for return shipment will be charged the replacement cost/rate.
Hat: There will be a $36.99 charge if the hat is returned bent, dirty or crushed. Please pack the hat carefully for its return home.
Cane: There will be a $18.99 charge if the cane is returned broken or not returned at all. If you are going to use the cane for dueling there will be a $10.00 fee per cane. Please send $10.00 back with your costume if you duel with the cane.
Pants: There will be a $25.00 charge for any extensive scrubbing that has to be done to the bottom of the pant legs. There will be a $55.00 charge to shorten the pants if they are unable to be cleaned after being worn too long. Please make sure your pants are shortened enough so they do not touch the ground.
Tie & Vest: There will be a $30.00 charge for either of these items if they are not returned.
Shoes: Any permanent damage to the shoes will result in the charge of $38.99.
There will be a $10.00 charge if the following criteria are not met:
o Shoes should be cleaned and free of dirt, mud, etc...
o Shoes must be dried before they are packaged and sent back to us.
If any permanent damage is done to the tuxedo, you will be charged the full purchase price of the item which is $219.99 -$299.00.
Do not dry clean your tuxedo. The tuxedo does not need to be cleaned before its returned.
Make sure the tuxedo(s) are shipped dry. If the tuxedo(s) are wet when shipped they may become moldy. You will be charged the full purchase price of $219.99-$299.00 per costume if they are moldy upon their return.
Do return your tuxedo on time. Rented merchandise must be returned or shipped to us on the first business day after the specified event date. Over time fees of 10% of the rental price per day will be charged for costumes shipped (or returned in person) after the agreed upon date. However, we lend a sympathetic ear to excuses called in BEFORE your return date has passed.
The customer is responsible for shipping both ways.
